GLO Pasticceria is dedicated to the Italian cakes, biscotti and desserts that don't get made much anymore — the ones that take time, restraint, and a genuine respect for the original recipes.
Everything in the case is made fresh to order at our Carlton kitchen, from classic Neapolitan pastiera to hand-decorated biscotti.Because everything is made by hand in small batches, most items are made-to-order rather than sitting ready in a display case. Order ahead online, and collect from the Lygon Street counter when it's ready.

Tram routes 1 or 6 run north from Swanston Street — get off at Lygon St/Elgin St, right outside our door. A taxi or rideshare is quicker if you're not near a tram stop.

From Melbourne University / Parkville
An easy walk down from campus, or a two-stop ride on tram 1 if you'd rather not walk with a cake in hand.

From Fitzroy / Collingwood
No direct tram across — quickest by car, rideshare, or a tram into the city and back out on route 1 or 6.

From North Melbourne / Brunswick
Tram 1 and 6 both run the full length of Lygon Street, so it's a direct ride from either direction.

From South Yarra / St Kilda Rd
